Duties
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments, including psychotropic medications and other prescribed therapies, ensuring proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems).
- Monitor patients for signs of acute distress or behavioral crises, implementing de-escalation techniques and emergency protocols as necessary.
- Provide patient education on medication management, coping strategies, and treatment options to promote understanding and adherence.
- Coordinate with case management, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate discharge planning and community reintegration.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using medical terminology and adhere to documentation standards aligned with NCQA standards.
- Assist in triage assessments for urgent behavioral health needs and participate in crisis intervention when required.
- Support patients with co-occurring conditions such as substance use disorders or developmental disabilities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to behavioral health practices, trauma medicine, and emergency response procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ Years of Experience
- BLS AHA
- CPI certification
- RN License
- Covid care
Pay: $1,976.46 - $2,147.14 per week
