Basileia Financial Services is looking for an emerging accounting professional who is eager to build a career in tax and public accounting.
Whether you're a recent graduate, completing your accounting degree, or have a year or two of experience, we're looking for someone who is curious, coachable, and excited to learn from experienced professionals.
You'll receive hands-on experience preparing tax returns, working directly with experienced accountants, and gradually developing the technical knowledge and client communication skills needed for a successful career in public accounting.

What You'll Do:
- Support senior accountants in preparing individual and business tax returns.
- Learn the firm's tax preparation systems, software, and quality review processes.
- Prepare returns with increasing independence as your experience grows.
- Assist with gathering client information and responding to client questions.
- Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and professional development.
- Develop the skills necessary to build long-term client relationships.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Has a degree in Accounting or is actively completing one.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Welcomes coaching and enjoys learning.
- Has internship or early accounting experience, or demonstrates strong potential to learn quickly.
- Is interested in pursuing a CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential.
- Wants to build a long-term career in public accounting.
We're open to creating the right working relationship for the right candidate, including full-time, part-time, W-2 employment, or an independent contractor arrangement.
This position may be performed remotely or in a hybrid schedule, with periodic meetings in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
Workloads naturally increase during tax season and become more flexible throughout the remainder of the year.
