About the Role
EM Energy Services is a quickly growing renewable and alternative energy company looking for an electrician to join our field crews executing solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS), EV charging, and LED retrofit projects. This role reports to the Field Operations Manager and involves continual travel required (75–80% of the time) to project sites across the central United States — roughly spanning from Colorado to Tennessee and North Dakota to Texas. Extended stays away from home should be expected.
This is a great opportunity for an apprentice-level electrician or construction worker, or someone who has recently earned their Journeyman license, to build hands-on experience across a wide range of solar PV, BESS, EV charging, and LED retrofit projects — from small commercial installations to large commercial/industrial and community solar/small utility-scale work. You'll work alongside experienced crews and leadership, building the technical and field skills needed to grow into more senior roles as our construction team continues to expand.
We encourage all candidates who meet the mandatory requirements and some of the preferred and bonus qualifications below to apply, even if you don't check every box. We are more interested in finding the right fit for the role than someone who meets every qualification.
