We are seeking a full-time Oral Surgery Anesthesia Assistant . Candidate must be able to travel to all Locations as needed. Must be a DA 2 with Oral Surgery experience. DAANCE certification preferred.
Overall Responsibility:
Responsible for traveling to designated practices and assisting he designated doctor. This involves not only assisting the surgeon with their duties, but also working closely with the patient to ensure they’re comfortable. They need to have great attention to detail and be organized. The Chairside Oral Surgery Assistant will carry out tasks such as preparing equipment before surgery, discussing the procedure and any aftercare with patients, and helping surgeons maintain patient vital statistics.
- Assist during surgery in patient care
- Sets up for Surgical Procedure
- Be Knowledgeable on emergency protocols
- Maintain Emergency Drug Box and Crash Cart
- Accurately maintain safe counts and patient logs
- Monitor patient vital signs and intravenous fluids during surgery
- Prepare patients for treatment by talking them through the procedure and preparing for general anesthesia or IV sedation
- Accurately monitors the patient during IV Sedation and records it on the anesthesia record
- go over pre-op and post Instructions with patient

Recquirements
- DA 2 Certificate
- Current BLS Certification
- NC x-ray Certification
- DAANCE Certification
- Experience with IV Sedation

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
