Our mission is to pour into individuals, enlighten families, and cultivate holistic wellness by providing safe, supportive, and accountable services to children and families involved with Indiana Department of Child Services.
We are currently hiring Visit Facilitators to provide Supervised Parenting Time in Shelby County and surrounding areas.
About the Role
Supervised visitation allows families to establish and maintain healthy parent-child and sibling relationships while ensuring child safety. Visit Facilitators create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where families can interact, learn, and grow.
This is an in-home and community-based role that requires professionalism, strong boundaries, and excellent documentation.
What You Will Do
- Supervise visits between parents, children, and siblings
- Monitor safety and intervene when needed
- Teach and role-model appropriate parenting and communication skills
- Support case goals related to reunification and child safety
- Document visits and complete DCS-required reports
- Communicate with DCS, courts, and Rraine supervisors
- Transport children and/or parents when required
Schedule
- 30+ hours per week
- Daytime, evening, and some weekend availability required
Service Area
This position serves Shelby County and surrounding counties, including but not limited to: Johnson, Bartholomew, Jennings and Jackson. Applicants must be willing to travel within these counties.
Minimum Qualifications
You must meet one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, education, criminal justice, or related field
OR
- Associate’s degree plus at least 4 years of experience in child welfare, behavioral health, or social services
Additional requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
