Teacher Assistant
Job Description:
Facilitate an environment where students learn and enjoy themselves. They assist in administrative, leadership, and creative tasks associated with their group/program. Guided by leadership staff, provide a developmentally appropriate program to help students finish their school homework and work on their weaknesses or strengths showing respect for all children. Keep the facility in a neat and orderly fashion. Develop a relationship with parents through daily interaction with them.
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma or its equivalent and one year experience in childcare, early childhood, or related program. Must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to both children and adults, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with center philosophy.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma with Teacher Assistant certificate
Previous experience working with children
