Central Ohio Real Estate Development Company is seeking a full time, experienced maintenance technician for our multifamily community in Zanesville, Ohio.
The Ideal candidate has at least 2 years of basic knowledge and experience in residential property management maintenance & repair, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and painting gained through formal education and/or on-the-job training. Our team’s perfect candidate has a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and has good problem solving/decision making skills. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor, but also will be guided by the Property Manager of the community. A competitive wage and benefits package is offered.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Complete service requests in a timely manner.
- Ability to work as a team to ensure the community meets quality standards set by the company.
- Skills related to construction and home maintenance required. HVAC certification is a plus.
- “On call" periodically.
- Walk the property and report any liability problems immediately.
- Perform all duties called upon by supervisor to ensure that the property operates in an efficient and economic manner.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation needed
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
