Gypsum Express Ltd. is seeking a motivated, dynamic, and flexible Parts Clerk to work in our Savannah, GA Shop.
As a Parts Clerk, you will issue purchase orders to approved vendors, properly label and stock parts, and issue parts to drivers and technicians.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Ensure all purchases for parts are from the lowest cost approved vendor.
- Return parts with paperwork to applicable vendors.
- Assist Technicians in part look up on all OE applicable part systems.
- Maintain inventory control, minimums/maximums, and target points.
- Make sure warranty parts are all tagged correctly.
- Make sure all cores are tagged, returned, and credited.
- Responsible for reporting price discrepancies, shortages, and new parts approval to the Inventory Control Manager and/or the Service Manager
- Responsible for inputting, receiving, closing, and coding of all parts invoiced paperwork.
- Ensure cycle counts and adjustments are completed on a weekly basis.
- Safely maintain parts and chemicals inside the parts room per OSHA rules
- May be required to load/unload parts off of vendor vehicles.
- Maintain shop organization and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of truck/trailer repair parts
- Ability to thrive in a busy parts department environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required.
- Possess strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- PC literate
- Knowledge of Service Department Applicable Maintenance Systems
- Forklift experience.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Positive attitude a must
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
