Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. This role is critical in providing high-quality care to Residents in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidates will have genuine compassion for assisting and making a difference in the lives of our residents. The ability to work as a team is a must. New hours are 5:00am - 5:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Licensed Nurses with patient care, including vital signs, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support patients with mobility issues, including lifting and transferring patients as needed.
- Provide medical documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills:
- Experience working in a long- term care setting
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
- Understanding of medical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to be observant & pay attention to detail.
