Job Description:
The Old Goat is looking for a Pizza Cook in our Grand Rapids, MI location. We are looking for a team player who is eager to learn and has a positive attitude. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. We offer a friendly environment to work in, as well as cross training in multiple areas to improve food service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza ingredients such as tomato sauce, cheese, salads, appetizers, and other supplies according to recipes
- Preferred experience in Prep service in Pizza Kitchens
- Cook food in the oven, grill or stovetop by following recipes and using proper tools and techniques
- Ensure that all food comes out simultaneously, efficiently, and in a perfect state
- Keep the workstations clean, organized, and sanitized at all times
- Follow all health and safety regulations when preparing food
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor
Experience:
- At least one year of experience in a high-volume kitchen is preferred (Pizza Cook preferred)
- Experience with using a wood-fired pizza oven is preferred but not required (Pizza Cook will train)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
