Able2Shine is a new and thriving organization that prides itself on quality soft skill education. Our foundational program is public speaking and debate, impromptu speech, hosting, reading and writing, and drama acting. Our classes build confidence and social competence by teaching communication, leadership, and teamwork.
Able2Shine speech and debate tournament team has won a lot of awards in the national and state level tournaments for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. We have won 140 championships in the tournaments and our award-winning percentage is close to 55%.
Able2shine has ranked as Top 3 sweepstakes in the national elementary, middle and high school speech & debate tournament in 2021, 2022 & 2023.
We have been expanding our programs nationally and internationally. Currently we are looking for experienced speech and debate teachers for in-person classes and camps in the Bay Area of California (such as San Jose, Cupertino, or Fremont) with the possibility of relocating to big cities in China for work down the road.

Qualifications:
Direct debate tournament experience
Experience with teaching youth debate experience.
Bachelor’s degree (Required)
Mathematical Acumen: Be comfortable with basic arithmetic and some more complex word problems
Physically located in Fremont, Cupertino, and/or Bay Area.
Growth mindset and an ability to work dynamically.
Strong communication skills, both orally and written.
Ages of students: 7-15 years old
Compensation: Fair market price and negotiable (plus employees benefits, medical insurance and annual performance bonus )
Teaching format: in person or hybrid
Working days: Flexible (whole day or half day)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans focused on enhancing communication skills among students.
- Facilitate discussions and activities that promote public speaking and effective communication techniques.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Create a supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate communication skills across the curriculum.
- Maintain records of student performance and attendance.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
