Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including taxis, shuttles, limousines, and delivery vans to transport passengers and goods efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with luggage, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS or maps, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately; maintain detailed logs of trips, mileage, and fare transactions.
- Assist with special transportation needs such as paratransit services or school bus driving when required.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch or clients to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times, ensuring punctuality at all times.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Standard license is all you need.
- Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage or cargo.
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and navigation tools.
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure safety standards are met.
