Job Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Warehouse/Packer to join our fast-paced compounding lab facility, TAM Pharmacy in Nashville. In this critical role, you will manage picking, packing, inventory tracking, and specialized distribution within a regulated pharmaceutical compounding environment. This isn't a slow-paced corporate warehouse, we need a self-directed operator who thrives on absolute accuracy, regulatory discipline, and rapid fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Packing & Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare temperature-sensitive compounded medications according to strict quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Inventory Control & System Tracking: Log incoming shipments, verify stock levels, and maintain precise inventory records using our digital management tools.
- Cold-Chain & Compliance Integrity: Execute strict handling protocols for climate-sensitive biotech compounds, ensuring continuous cold-chain integrity from the lab to final dispatch.
- Receiving & Logistics Coordination: Inspect incoming freight for damage, process international/domestic logistics paperwork, and coordinate with courier partners for timely outgoing shipments.
- Agile Problem Solving: Identify operational bottlenecks on the floor, optimize packing station workflows, and proactively resolve shipping exceptions or inventory discrepancies to keep fulfillment moving smoothly.
Qualifications & Skill
- Experience: 1-3 years in warehouse operations (preferred), packing, or fulfillment (experience in a pharmacy, compounding lab, biotech, or cold-chain environment is a strong plus).
- Autonomy & Speed: Proven track record of thriving in fast-moving, entrepreneurial settings where you take full ownership without needing constant supervision.
- Meticulous Accuracy: Exceptional attention to detail, errors in a compounding pharmacy directly impact patient safety.
- Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between high-volume packaging, raw material receiving, and urgent cold-chain shipping throughout the day.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand/walk for extended shifts, perform delicate packing tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation & Total Rewards
- $18.00 - $21.00 hourly (commensurate with experience and certifications)
- This role is full-time, in-person in Nashville, Tennessee.
