Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in commercial setting
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, and furniture through effective floor care techniques.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Carry out custodial duties such as restocking supplies and managing waste disposal.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned according to established standards.
- Provide porter services when necessary, assisting with the movement of items within the facility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
