Overview
We are seeking an experienced, energetic General Manager to lead our hotel to new heights! This pivotal role requires a seasoned hospitality leader with skill in team leadership, project management, budgeting, and revenue management. Mountain Edge Suites at Sunapee is near Mount Sunapee Resort and Lake Sunapee, 15 minutes off of Interstate 89.
Responsibilities
- Recruit high quality team members; ensure they receive initial and ongoing training in both hospitality and job fundamentals
- Build and maintain a culture of gracious hospitality.
- Maintain high scores in all measured areas including Likelihood to Recommend.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
- Hold the team to high standards in cleanliness, maintenance, neatness, and presentation.
- Oversee a complex physical plant, and manage the performance and timing of projects and repairs.
- Provide direct feedback, one on one counseling, and disciplinary measures as needed.
- Follow all laws, protocols, and policies in human resource-related situations.
- Manage room revenue in partnership with revenue director.
- Research regional events and develop selling strategies.
- Ensure on-time billing, authorizations, payments for AR accounts, groups, and guest ledger.
- Review annual budgets and monthly income statements
- Create short- and medium-term forecasts.
- Achieve budget metrics in revenue, labor, and controllable expenses.
Experience
- Minimum of five years of hotel general manager experience; ten years of hospitality leadership experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and be on call.
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets and developing successful teams.
Position includes a generous bonus program.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
