Full Time Surgical Tech opportunity available in a busy Outpatient Surgery Center
Monday – Friday. No nights, no call or holidays
Specialties: Multispecialty but seeking candidate with ENT experience
Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
High school graduation or equivalent
Completion of a course in surgical technology from an accredited school
Surgical Technologist Certification is preferred.
- GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive)
- Prepares surgical suite, supplies and equipment to ensure environmental safety, and infection control for personnel and patients.
- Demonstrates skills appropriate to preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative to provide a safe patient care environment.
- Ensure all instruments are in good working condition.
- Review physician preference cards and ensure up to date.
- Assists with the preparation and turn over of room to ensure efficient maintenance of schedule.
- Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position.
- Help stock the O.R., substerile areas and sterile supply rooms.
- Pull cases for next day.
- Provides input regarding equipment needs and supplies.
- Demonstrates sound cost containment techniques.
- Utilizes time effectively.
- Completes all documentation to ensure the availability of accurate and up to date information in accordance with established standards.
- Adheres to established safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
