Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including commercial spaces, food processing areas, and warehouses. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, and food production settings.
- Sanitize surfaces and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Fabricate cleaning solutions as needed for specific cleaning tasks.
- Conduct custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Maintain cleanliness in warehouses by organizing materials and disposing of waste properly.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for moving equipment or materials during cleaning operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices in food processing environments is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies is beneficial.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions effectively.
