Position Summary:
We are seeking a Car-O-Liner Technical Trainer who embodies our core values and brings hands-on collision repair expertise. In this role, you will lead equipment training sessions both at client collision centers and within our in-house training facility. You will empower shop owners and technicians to maximize their Car-O-Liner investment, ensuring repairs are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety-First Training Instruction: Conduct interactive, safety-focused training modules on Car-O-Liner equipment at our training center and on-site at customer facilities.
- Product Mastery & Demonstration: Instruct technicians on proper setup, operation, and maintenance of:
- Frame & Alignment Systems: BenchRack™, Quick42™, and Speed™ platform systems.
- 3D Measuring Systems: Car-O-Tronic® Vision2™ and PointX® electronic diagnostic tools.
- Fixturing & Anchoring: EVO™ Universal Anchoring and Holding systems.
- Joining Technologies: CTR® Spot Welders, CMI™ MIG/MAG Welders, and PNP Riveting tools.
- Plan for Success: Work directly with shop owners and managers to assess skill levels, optimize workflow layouts, and tailor training to fit their collision bay goals.
- Persistently Professional Support: Provide ongoing technical support post-installation, helping clients troubleshoot, refine techniques, and achieve OEM-level accuracy.
- Sales Demonstration Support: Partner with the SLE sales team to deliver live product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on collision repair, structural frame alignment, or technical automotive training experience.
- Car-O-Liner Equipment Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Car-O-Liner benches, Car-O-Tronic software/measuring, and welding equipment is highly preferred.
- Alignment with Core Values: A strong commitment to workshop safety, professional execution, and helping customers succeed.
- Communication Skills: Clear, engaging speaker who is patient and effective when teaching adult learners with varying skill levels.
- Certifications: I-CAR, ASE, or OEM structural repair certifications are strongly desired.
- Travel & License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel regionally across Indiana, Northern Kentucky, and Western Ohio (approx. 40–50% travel).
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, maneuver heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods during shop floor training.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
