About the Role
HOA Strategies is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Tech to oversee building maintenance operations for a community in the Park City area. This on-site leadership role is ideal for a skilled professional who excels at managing facilities and coordinating with third-party vendors to ensure the community’s physical assets are maintained to the highest standards.
The Maintenance Manager will focus on day-to-day building maintenance, long-term asset care, and oversight of renovation and capital improvement projects. This role reports directly to the Property Manager and works closely with vendors and internal staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
The position is onsite Wednesday to Sunday, 3pm to 11pm.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee Building Maintenance Operations
Manage and participate in routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of building systems and components, ensuring safety, functionality, and longevity.
- Manage Capital Projects & Renovations
Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors hired for major repairs and renovation projects, ensuring work quality, compliance with scope, timelines, and approved budgets.
- Vendor Coordination & Quality Control
Serve as the on-site point of contact for contractors, monitor progress, address issues proactively, and confirm completed work meets expectations and specifications.
- Reporting & Communication
Provide regular updates and detailed reports on open maintenance items and capital projects to the Property Manager and HOA Board.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards, building codes, and community policies.
Maintain organized maintenance records, track work orders, and support long-term planning for building systems and infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
- Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and general construction)
- Experience coordinating and overseeing third-party contractors and renovation projects
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on-site full-time and collaborate closely with property management and HOA leadership
