Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Director to lead our accounting operations and support the growth of a fast-paced medical technology company. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, cash management, audits, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Manage general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Oversee audits, tax compliance, and technical accounting.
- Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and financial reporting.
- Support ERP implementation and financial system improvements.
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, reporting, and business decisions.
- Build and mentor the accounting team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Director of Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience in Medical Device, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Biotech preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, and Carta is a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Pay: $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
