Founded in 2003, Balensi Spa is an award-winning AVEDA Family Spa located in a beautifully remodeled 1910 home near the Chula Vista Nature Wildlife Center. Recognized as Best Facial Spa in San Diego and a World Luxury Spa Awards winner, we have built our reputation on European techniques, personalized skincare, and exceptional client experiences.

Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Esthetician who loves skincare, wellness, and providing exceptional guest care.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, professionalism, and a desire to grow within our experienced and supportive team.
Job Duties
- Provide high-quality, customized facial and skincare treatments.
- Perform services such as facials, microdermabrasion, peels, waxing, back treatments, and aromatherapy.
- Educate clients on skincare techniques and professional products.
- Promote the benefits of regular skincare treatments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver memorable guest experiences.
- Support spa operations and collaborate with team members.
Requirements
- Valid California Esthetician License (required)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings and some Saturdays
- Goal-driven, organized, and professional
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- A client following in the area is preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $17 – $22 per hour
- Plus: Tips, commissions on services, and product sales

Schedule
- Monday: 8:45 AM - 2:00 PM
- Tuesday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Some Saturdays: 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM
