Position Overview:
This role combines barista responsibilities with customer service and light product finishing. You’ll be preparing beverages, assisting guests, and helping ensure our bakery items look as amazing as they taste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to standard
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide a positive, friendly experience
- Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately
- Serve bakery items and maintain a clean, organized display
- Decorate and finish products (e.g., adding toppings, drizzles, whipped cream, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining area, and equipment
- Restock supplies and assist with opening/closing duties
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
Qualifications:
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail, especially with food presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
