Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Production Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate automated production equipment, monitor machine performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure products meet quality standards.
Title: Production Machine Operator – Automated Assembly
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84123
Duration: 1 year with possible extension and conversion
Pay Range: $18.00 to 19.26 Hourly
Select Shift &Schedule (Two Options):
1. Night Shift (12 hr) rotating shift|6:30PM-6:30AM
2. Day Shift (12 hr) rotating shift|6:30AM-6:30PM
Position Summary:
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, or similar industrial environments.
Responsibilities:
Operate automated production and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor machine performance and respond to basic equipment issues.
Perform routine machine start-up, operation, and minor adjustments.
Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
Complete production records and required documentation.
Package, label, and prepare finished products.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all company safety and operating procedures.
Qualifications:
Required
1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, or a similar industrial environment.
Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
Preferred:
Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment.
Experience in medical device, automotive, food manufacturing, or other regulated production environments.
Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to learn new equipment and processes quickly.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
