Requirements: Excellent customer service skills. Work well in a team focused environment and accept changes willingly. Must be competent in Microsoft Word & Excel and able to become proficient in other software applications as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position. Must be able to operate independently and exercise discretion to assure adequate checks and balances in the loan origination and servicing processes. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload. Must be able to assist loan officers in adhering to loan procedures and policies.
Primary Responsibilities: Greets and acknowledges customers and co-workers providing information as requested.
Prepares promissory notes and related documents at the request of lenders. Exercises independent judgment to assure proper legal documentation is present and legally executed prior to booking loans.

- Processing new, existing and paid loan files
- Application of payments
- Scanning of loan documents
- Perfecting lien positions i.e. title work, ucc’s and mortgages
- Lien searches
- Government reporting i.e. hmda, cra, 1099’s
- Pull required reports i.e. flood determinations, credit reports
- Working and clearing exceptions
- Logging denials
- Maintaining collateral log
- Tracking insurance as required
- Order and verify loan coupons
- Processing and preparing daily mail
- Daily filing
Secondary Responsibilities: Assist all loan officers and personnel on special projects.
