Now Hiring: Processing Operator (Metal Making & Magnet Production)
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Processing Operator to support both our Metal Making and Magnet Production departments. This role is responsible for operating advanced processing equipment, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Operate rare earth processing equipment in both Metal Making and Magnet Production departments
- Perform daily area and equipment inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Prepare materials and set up equipment according to recipes, work instructions, and production requirements
- Safely operate mobile equipment and material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts and related machinery)
- Monitor and operate molten metal processing and vacuum casting equipment
- Adjust and control equipment settings and process parameters to maintain consistent quality and productivity
- Document, collect, and report production data accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Follow all safety policies, regulations, and mandatory workplace requirements
- Properly wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Actively participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Payrates are DOE (Depending On Experience)
12 Hour Rotating Shifts, switches every week.
1st Shift: 4am-2pm
2nd Shift: 2pm -Midnight
