Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive, safety and detail-oriented Medical Equipment Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and maintenance of a wide variety of complex medical equipment across various healthcare settings. Your expertise in general mechanics, electro-mechanical components, electrical diagnostics, and biomedical regulatory compliance will ensure that equipment functions optimally, meets safety standards, and adheres to ISO, ADA, and industry-specific regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care by ensuring medical devices are properly installed and maintained for reliable operation.
Responsibilities
- Install new medical equipment in clinical and residential environments following OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and schematics.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on electro-mechanical components to identify issues promptly.
- Read and interpret, technical manuals and engineering troubleshooting guides to facilitate accurate installation and repairs.
- Perform calibration and programing procedures on medical devices to ensure precise operation according to manufacturer standards and patient needs.
- Use hand tools and computer hardware to assemble, adjust, and test equipment during installation or maintenance activities.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities
- Collaborate with field service teams to execute installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with OEM medical equipment installation, calibration, and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical diagnostics skills for troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
- Ability to read schematics diagrams, and interpret technical manuals accurately.
- Familiarity with technical software for service documentation and tracking.
- Knowledge of biomedical regulatory compliance standards such as ADA, HIPAA, ISO 13485 or FDA regulations is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical installations, electrical diagnostics, equipment repair, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to field service tasks.
- Ability to work independently in diverse healthcare environments while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Ability to conduct excellent customer service with all patients or clients in a medical setting, and addressing patients personally and professionally while attending to each of their specific health needs.
- Maintain a fair driving record and healthy status of company vehicles

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
