Hiring range: $65,000 - $328,244.80
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
- Develops departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares departmental budgets and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and directs internal/external audits.
- Directs and evaluates all services provided, including care plan development, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Complexity of Work:
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Social Worker credentialed from the New York Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required.
Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
