Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of strong mechanical background and experience in automotive repair, specifically in glass installation and repair. This role involves working with various types of automotive glass, including windshields, windows, and sunroofs, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace automotive glass components in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize Auto estimating tools to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify additional issues related to glass and overall vehicle integrity.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed during the glass installation process.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including advancements in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
- 5 years of experience with auto glass repair and replacement techniques is a requirement
- Experience with window tinting is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required.
