We are seeking new year-round teammates (part or full time) that can work both at the storefronts in Production roles as well as Farmers Market Sales Associates:
In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks relating to food production (such as labeling containers, portioning product, and possibly operating commercial food manufacturing equipment) as well as representing La Pasta at Farmers Markets (including gathering the designated product for the markets, setting up and running La Pasta stands, and keeping the product and facilities in good order).
We prioritize working in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner. Candidates must have a growth mindset, a positive - can-do attitude, and work with consistency and speed. We want to find people who are eager to learn, receptive to feedback, dedicated, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities
Production Tasks (20-60%)
Follow company policies, procedures, and expectations
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and sanitary regulations.
Complete sanitation tasks including but not limited to: dishwashing, sweeping/mopping, cleaning equipment/facility, trash, recycling, etc...
Label containers, portion product, complete basic knife work (ie chopping onions), process ingredients, ect
Operate commercial scale manufacturing equipment including but not limited to: commercial mixer, vertical chopper/processor, gnocchi machine, ravioli machine, pasta maker, pasta cutter.
Farmers Market Tasks (20-60%+)
Legally and responsibly drive a company vehicle to and from the assigned farmers market location
Independently set up, run, and put away the La Pasta booth at assigned farmers markets
Present and sell company products at various farmers markets
Independently complete packing, reporting, and re-stock related to assigned market
Work in a food-safe, clean manner, following First In First Out (FIFO) best practices
Pick up or drop off product from other vendors at the market
Retail Tasks (20%)
Providing a positive and authentic check-out experience for customers
Ensure storefront is adequately stocked for full product availability to customers
Verify and receive new retail product inventory in accordance with company policies
Accurately work the checkout register and cash drawer
Basic opening/closing retail tasks
Experience/Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Valid and clean Driver's License (driving company car is required)
Ability to reliably commute to/from the La Pasta Wedgewood store for morning (6:45 AM arrival) and evening markets (9 PM departure) (Required)
Ability to work weekends
Ability or willingness to learn and drive full cargo vans
Smartphone with Square app capability (any smartphone should work)
Reliably commute to the La Pasta Wedgewood store for by 6:45 AM for weekend markets, and from the La Pasta Wedgwood and Queen Anne storefronts around 9pm for weekdays.
A valid Washington State Food Workers Card within 14 days of hire
Must be able to stand on your feet for 4-5 hours at a time
Ability to lift 120+ lb, 3.5 wide cooler safely and independently
Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
Friendly, outgoing personality
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
