Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract and Accounting Administrator to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing a wide range of contractual and financial documentation, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, and supporting the organization’s strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage vendor relationships through effective communication, performance monitoring, and compliance oversight.
- Review, analyze, and process contractual documents using document management systems such as Salesforce, PeopleSoft, or ERP platforms like UCC law systems.
- Ensure adherence to procurement regulations including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other federal or public sector purchasing guidelines.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, grants, proposals, and amendments with stakeholders while maintaining clarity and legal accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all contractual documents, amendments, correspondence, and compliance documentation for audit readiness.
- Support grant project management by coordinating grant applications, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with grant terms.
- Collaborate with legal teams on intellectual property law issues and legal drafting to mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations.
- Utilize tools such as DocuSign for electronic signatures and ERP systems like PeopleSoft for financial tracking and reporting.
- Conduct research on procurement policies or regulatory changes to ensure organizational practices remain compliant and competitive.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in government contract management or public sector purchasing with a strong understanding of procurement regulatory frameworks such as IDOT
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, contract management, legal understanding, and document review processes.
- Familiarity with management procedures including proposal writing, pricing strategies, and project tracking.
- Strong knowledge of compliance management practices across federal or public sector contracting environments.
- Excellent research skills combined with strategic planning capabilities to support business development initiatives.
- Exceptional writing skills for technical documentation, proposals, reports, and legal correspondence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in records management.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
