Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing clear direction, coaching, and ongoing training to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure consistency, safety, and adherence to recipes and standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation.
- Control inventory levels through regular stock checks, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste.
- Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff alike.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction remains high.
- Support kitchen management by coordinating food production schedules and maintaining quality control during busy hours.
Experience
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management.
- Prior supervisory or management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS for order processing and cash handling is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives, staff scheduling, and performance management.
- Strong background in food industry operations including inventory control, food production, catering, bar service, and kitchen management.
- Experience managing hospitality teams with skills in supervising staff training, interviewing candidates, and fostering teamwork.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes along with profit & loss analysis to support business growth initiatives.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate staff to deliver memorable guest experiences.
