Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. No certification is necessary, training will be provided
Schedule: Thurs: 7am-12pm (Valley Stream Office) | Every other Sat: 7am-12pm (Valley Stream Office)

Clinic Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Studying instructions for procedures to explain adequate prep to patients
- Preparing for procedures by attaching 3-lead EKG, oxygen nasal cannula, mouthpiece
- Taking vitals during recovery period, BP monitoring, and removing IVs
- Aiding in patient discharge and instructing patients on proper after-care protocols
- Maintaining patient discharge papers and procedure reports for clinic records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous clinical experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to work every procedure day (Thursdays & rotating Saturdays)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy and support
Note: There will be an initial instruction period to obtain training before one can be considered for the nursing assistant position. This period would vary according to the candidates' ability to attain proficiency in scribing and medical assisting.
