Smile Vista Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a part-time Orthodontist to join its pediatric-focused practice in Denver, CO.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Orthodontist looking for a flexible schedule of 1–2 days per week in a collaborative environment where pediatric dentistry and orthodontics are offered under one roof. The practice is committed to creating positive, comfortable experiences for children and their families while providing high-quality, individualized orthodontic care.

Practice Focus: Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics

Patient Population: Children, adolescents, and adults

Provide comprehensive orthodontic evaluations and treatment for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
-
Diagnose malocclusions and develop individualized treatment plans
-
Provide early/interceptive and comprehensive orthodontic treatment
-
Treat patients using traditional braces, clear aligners, expanders, and other appropriate orthodontic appliances
-
Monitor treatment progress and make clinical adjustments as needed
-
Evaluate growth and development and identify appropriate timing for orthodontic intervention

Educate patients and parents/guardians regarding treatment options, expectations, and oral hygiene
-
Clearly communicate treatment recommendations and financial considerations with families
-
Establish positive, long-term relationships with patients and their families
-
Collaborate with the Pediatric Dentist to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
-
Stay current with advances in orthodontic techniques, technology, and treatment modalities

Deliver care consistent with accepted clinical standards and Colorado regulations
-
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
-
Completion of an ADA/CODA-accredited Orthodontic Residency Program
-
Active Colorado dental license or eligibility for Colorado licensure
-
Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthodontics

Current BLS/CPR certification

Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one, as applicable

Strong clinical and diagnostic skills

Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults

Proficiency with comprehensive orthodontic treatment planning

Strong understanding of growth and development and early/interceptive orthodontics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to establish rapport with children and families

Strong behavioral and patient-management skills

Commitment to providing individualized, patient-centered care

Ability to work collaboratively with pediatric dental providers and the broader clinical team

Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment
