Summary of Duties:
The CAD Designer is responsible for creating, modifying, and archiving the construction drawings for projects according to client specifications, and according to company standards. The CAD Designer may participate in design consultations, to develop accurate designs, and will use software such as Cabinet Vision to carry out the design process. This role will also perform any duties usually associated with this position that may not be expressly outlined, any other activities that will contribute to the organization.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
· Use Cabinet Vision software to design projects.
· Schedule management. The CAD Designer needs to stay apprised of the manufacturing pipeline at regular intervals for the coming, 8 weeks, 6 weeks, and 4 weeks ahead, and ensure designs are completed by the design department and verified during the design review and manufacturing process.
· Communicate regularly with the Sales, Operation, and Installs Team to keep them apprised of the current manufacturing timeline for projects, pending projects, and priorities to be able to provide accurate and realistic manufacturing timelines.

Qualifications:
· Experience with CAD software such as Cabinet Vision, or Mosaic is required. High School Diploma or GED. Direct experience with CAD Design is required.
· Direct education in AutCAD drafting is desirable, but may be substituted with experience.
· Strong written and communication skills
· Experience in a similar design industry a plus.
Work Environment:
The CAD Designer will primarily work in an office environment, but may also spend time in the manufacturing plant. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to different weather patterns/conditions, including extreme hot, cold, wind, and precipitation; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles.

Dress Code:
The following professional dress attire is required
· Long Pants (no sweatpants)
· At least a 4” sleeve is to be worn, tucked in, and a belt is to be worn.
· Loose fitting clothing should not be worn around production equipment.
· Work boots required in the production environment. No tennis shoes or sandals.
