The position requires someone that can manage their time, perform their work without supervision, and support and assist customers with professionalism, excellent customer service attitude, comfortable on a computer, and able to work weekends (Saturdays).
JOB DUTIES: (Care of storage property, renting units, and managing delinquent accounts, including rent collection).
- Renting storage units
- Completing rental agreements, receipts, insurance addendum, and any other documents required.
- Collection of all rent, fees, and other monies owed to the business
- Make courtesy and collection calls, collect past-due rent, and document these calls in the tenant files
- Property and facility upkeep including grounds keeping and housekeeping
- Keep empty storage spaces clean and ready to rent
- Computer literate, using SiteLink software, and Excel or Word for daily and weekly management reports.
Responsibilities Include: The daily operation of a self-storage facility, spending your workday split between outside work and inside office tasks. Interact with customers in helping them assess their storage needs, execute leases, answer inquiries, answering phones, collect payments and resolve issues, cleaning property (sweeping, mopping, etc.), Outside duties include inspecting the property and/or buildings and units for repairs, maintaining property grounds, keeping an eye on customers entering or exiting the gates and keeping our high curb appeal standards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Hours are 9am - 6pm /Monday – Friday)
- Capable of light maintenance work, for the upkeep of the facility
- Able to stand, sit, and walk the property daily
- Able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis
- Work during all four seasons in varying weather conditions
- Self Storage experience a PLUS, but not a requirement
