American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, FL, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and an active FL or compact RN license.

Work is performed in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab on the 1st floor of the main building at a 309-bed Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, FL
-
Unit consists of 3 Cath Labs with a team of 8 RNs, 5 Techs, 2 Lead Techs, and 1 CNC on the day shift
-
Patient ratio is 1:1
-
Typical procedures include PCI, structural heart, and diagnostic catheterizations

Equipment used includes GE systems; EMR includes MacLab and Meditech
-
Shift hours are 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (day shift only; no night shift)

13-week contract
-
Every other weekend required, with holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Active FL or compact RN license required

BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Two professional references required (Florida requirement)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Navy blue scrubs are required for RNs

The unit is known for great teamwork and physicians

Parking is available anywhere on campus except the ER parking area
