Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary orthodontic instruments, materials, and equipment for each patient appointment.
- Assist orthodontists during procedures such as bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance fittings using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Take dental X-rays and 3D scans, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort while adhering to infection prevention protocols.
- Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices to promote optimal results.
