ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Food Safety & QA Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate and execute food safety and quality assurance activities across the production process, ensuring our products consistently meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. You will serve as a key liaison between production, operations, and regulatory compliance teams, and play an active role in audit readiness and continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect and verify incoming raw materials to confirm they meet quality standards and compliance specifications.
- Conduct routine process inspections and sanitation checks on the production line; document anomalies and coordinate corrective action follow-up across relevant departments.
- Coordinate food testing arrangements, organize and maintain inspection records, and manage non-conforming product handling procedures.
- Support and coordinate the implementation of food safety programs including HACCP, FMSA, and USDA compliance requirements.
- Maintain, organize, and control food safety and quality documentation systems; ensure records are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready at all times.
- Serve as a point of contact for regulatory authority inspections and third-party audits; coordinate internal preparation, compile required documentation, and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on food safety standards and quality requirements.
- Perform other food safety and quality-related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication in a professional setting).
- Solid understanding of food safety principles and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety regulatory requirements (FMSA / USDA).
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing documentation and coordinating across teams.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Food Science, Food & Nutrition, or a closely related discipline.
- Conversational ability in Mandarin Chinese.
Pay: $23.56 - $28.38 per hour
