Popular Instagram Perfume Showroom are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently handling transactions. Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product inquiries or demos
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and confidence
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to enhance the shopping experience
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
- Assist with stocking, inventory management, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and inviting
Qualifications
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred but not required; training provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with merchandising is beneficial
- Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities
