Position Overview
Ascendant Wealth Management Group is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Specialist to lead and execute our marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for driving lead generation, supporting advisor branding efforts, managing client communications, coordinating events, and enhancing the firm's digital presence.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong digital marketing experience, excellent project management skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns that support client acquisition and retention goals.
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, website content, and online advertising.
- Coordinate client appreciation events, seminars, workshops, and community outreach activities.
- Support advisor branding and marketing initiatives across multiple markets.
- Manage lead generation and lead-nurturing programs through CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Track campaign performance, key marketing metrics, and ROI.
- Collaborate with advisors, leadership, vendors, and compliance teams to ensure effective and compliant marketing execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology utilization, and marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3 – 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services, professional services, or a relationship-driven business.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, email marketing, CRM systems, and event planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities independently.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Location
Multiple office locations are available in Iowa; primarily in West Des Moines area and Fort Dodge area.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
