Position Overview
We’re looking for a knowledgeable and customer‑focused REMOTE CRAC/CRAH Service Technician to join our technical support team. This is a virtual remote position with some travel required, ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys troubleshooting, guiding customers, and solving problems from a centralized support environment.
You’ll provide expert assistance for mission critical cooling systems, Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRAC) and Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAH), helping customers diagnose issues, interpret alarms, and navigate system operations.
Representative Support
· Provide phone‑based technical support for CRAC/CRAH equipment, controls, and related systems
· Provide in-person/on-site start-up and commissioning services nationwide as needed – this is a round-robin schedule that will be shared with other technicians.
· Troubleshoot alarms, performance issues, and operational faults using customer‑provided information
· Walk customers through corrective steps, maintenance procedures, and system checks
· Review system logs, sensor data, and controller behavior to identify root causes
· Document all support interactions, findings, and recommended actions
· Escalate complex or critical issues to engineering or field service teams when needed
· Assist with startup support, configuration guidance, and best‑practice recommendations
· Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product lines, firmware updates, and industry standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Resolution
· Facilitate communication to support timely issue resolution in a very fast-moving environment
Escalate concerns appropriately while maintaining ownership of the customer experience
Customer Relationship Ownership
· Act as a trusted resource for customers and sales representatives
Maintain long-term relationships through proactive communication and accountability
Advocate internally to support timely resolution of customer needs
Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience working with CRAC/CRAH units, critical mission cooling systems or data center cooling equipment
· Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, airflow management, and humidity control
· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, control schematics, and technical manuals
· Excellent communication skills, especially in guiding customers step‑by‑step over the phone
· Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities
· Comfortable working in a structured, phone‑support environment
· Bilingual abilities a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
