We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to provide services in the Belleville and Romulus area at a Residential Co Op. This is a Full-Time Position with a 8AM to 5PM Schedule. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of property upkeep and work order repairs. Must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. Must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing etc. The goal is to ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times.
Responsibilities
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Completion of Work Orders
- Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Must have ability to take after hour emergency calls
- Participate in snow removal on property during winter months
Skills
- At least 5 years of strong technical knowledge and experience of all building systems (plumbing, electrical, heating etc.)
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
- An eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
- Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
