Advanced Kidney Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing nephrology practice.
Our staff works closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to care for patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis needs, kidney transplants, and other complex medical conditions. Because many of our patients remain with us for years, our team has the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and see the lasting impact of the care we provide.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in helping patients, communicates well, stays organized, and wants to develop a valuable specialty skill set.

- Position Responsibilities
- Welcome and room patients
- Obtain vital signs, histories, and reconcile medications
- Prepare patients for provider visits
- Assist physicians and APPs during clinic
- Coordinate labs, imaging, and referrals
- Process prescription refill requests
- Communicate with patients and outside healthcare providers
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record
- Maintain organized patient care areas
- Participate in quality improvement activities
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or current LPN license
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Nephrology experience welcomed but not required—we will train the right candidate
