Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist to support our clients' finance operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our clients’ financial records. In this role, you’ll oversee daily bookkeeping activities, manage end-to-end payroll processing, and contribute to financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks, Open Invoice, and Google Drive.
- Process payroll timely and accurately.
- Perform bank reconciliations quickly and effectively.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, supporting strong vendor relationships and healthy cash flow.
- Generate financial reports for internal and external use.
- Support budgeting by providing reliable financial data and insights.
- Assist with audits by preparing documentation and ensuring accuracy.
- Use spreadsheets extensively for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a consistent full‑time schedule with reliable attendance.
- 60‑day and 90‑day performance reviews will determine wage increases aligned with your demonstrated skill level.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, or related accounting roles.
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks.
- Solid understanding of reconciliation processes.
- Experience with QuickBooks payroll system and demonstrated ability to process payroll accurately and compliantly.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills (Google Docs, Google Sheets, ect.), strong 10-key accuracy, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
