American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Emergency Department position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 1900–0730
-
Weekend rotation required
-
No on-call requirement
-
Active CA RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
-
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
-
2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
-
Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Perform clinical procedures including IV placement, Foley catheter insertion, and wound dressings
-
Monitor and accurately document patient assessments, telemetry, ventilator management, and medication administration
-
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and act as a patient advocate
-
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
-
Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
