Job Summary
We are seeking a strong and hardworking person with at least 3-4 years of experience in construction with experience using hand power tools for drilling into rebar reinforced concrete. Must be capable working with steel (drilling, cutting, grinding, etc), and have some experience rigging and installing overhead steel beams, so comfort working on aerial lifts is essential.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project so you MUST pass an FBI fingerprinted background check to get access to the site, have a minimum of OSHA 10.

Responsibilities
- Drill holes in rebar reinforced ceiling concrete beams. Other projects are usually new builds and overhead drilling is typically not required. Power tools used: rotary hammer drills on a drill press (drill support and leverage tool).
- Install anchors using epoxy, support brackets, anti-sway bracing, and beams for this retrofit project. Power tools used: die grinders, mag drills, angle grinders, impact wrench, etc
- Rigging and picking beams to move from one floor to the other, lift into place and attach to support brackets and splice to adjacent beams and anti-sway bracing, using hoists, come-a-longs, cranes, scaffolding, aerial platform lifts, material lifts, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and best practices for rigging operations. FOLLOWING SAFETY RULES ON THE JOB SITE IS ESSENTIAL. This is why OSHA 10 certification is essential.
- MUST pass an FBI background check with fingerprinting for badging for secure job site. No felonies in the last ten years.
- A valid driver license.
- Must pass random drug and alcohol testing.
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
