Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Restoration Foreman / Lead to oversee and direct concrete repair and restoration projects on commercial and infrastructure sites. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in construction management, team supervision, and technical expertise in concrete restoration processes. As the primary on-site authority, you will coordinate crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality results efficiently. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a culture of safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
Duties
- Lead and manage concrete restoration crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure project timelines are met.
- Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Review construction drawings and schematics to interpret technical requirements accurately before work begins.
- Coordinate project scheduling using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or HeavyBid to optimize workflow.
- Supervise safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Manage quality control processes, ensuring work meets specified standards and client expectations through inspections and testing.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to review contracts, budgets, and project scopes; assist with construction estimating when needed.
- Utilize tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing as required during certain restoration tasks; interpret technical data for troubleshooting.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, safety incidents, change orders, and material usage for reporting purposes.
Skills
- Extensive experience in heavy civil or commercial construction site management with a focus on concrete restoration projects.
- Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment; excellent crew management skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety requirements.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other construction scheduling tools.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
- Expertise in construction estimating, budgeting, project scheduling, and contract review processes.
- Effective communication skills for managerial roles—able to coordinate between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members seamlessly.
- Familiarity with construction safety management practices specific to concrete repair work; experience supervising safety compliance on-site.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using tools like Ohmmeter; understanding of electrical schematics relevant to infrastructure projects.
