Experience with ammonia refrigeration or industrial refrigeration experience preferred. Will Supervise a team of 12 Technicians.
This position would require that the candidate obtains ammonia related training certifications within the first year of employment (Operator 1, Operator 2, PSM/RMP program training) - Paid by the employer

Work closely with the Planner /Scheduler to ensure all preventive maintenance is completed at 100% compliance

Follow up with inspections of completed work and identification of opportunities for improvement, including meaningful feedback to equipment history enabling identification of repetitive problems with development of corrective actions

Ensure all labor, parts and work are reported daily through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports
Professional Contacts/Relationships Within & Outside the Distribution Center– The Supervisor’s job requires extensive & continual communication with a large number of people, both inside & outside the Distribution Center. It is necessary to have a good background in business management techniques in the areas of planning, organizing, scheduling & directing

Obtain and monitor operational set points, control points and daily events related to hazardous materials and refrigeration

Possess general maintenance knowledge and ability to properly repair/maintain any piece of equipment and the facility

The Maintenance Supervisor role has a national salary range of $63,000 - $80,000.
For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $84,000 and Washington is $80,169 - $88,000.

Job Description
Implement all maintenance activities at the site, ensuring repairs and changes are performed timely and flawlessly. Responsible for planning and supervising all hourly maintenance associates.
Determine day to day priority scheduling and follow up of all maintenance activities and associates performing such work.
Ensure all necessary facilities systems are kept in reliable working condition and that they meet any required customer / regulatory specifications.
Develop and implements a maintenance associate development plan to ensure training and development of all associates supervised.
Coordinate all planned projects and outages with affected parties.
Required Education and Experience
Journeyman level training or equivalent in training & experience, required
3-5 years experience in facilities maintenance (warehouse equipment, and grounds), required
HVAC, plumbing and electrical certification, preferred
3-5 years experience in warehouse refrigeration management, preferred
