Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $45,000-$50,000 per year

Position Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Inside Sales Associate to join our Des Moines team. This role is responsible for assisting clients with product selection, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial inquiry through to order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to assess their project needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Utilize checklists to ensure customers receive all necessary supplies for their orders
- Promote additional products and value-added services where appropriate
- Manage incoming calls and enter sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Process payments and apply them to customer accounts using internal systems
- Coordinate customer pick-ups and collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely fulfillment
- Monitor deliveries to confirm prompt and complete arrival of materials
- Proactively address and resolve any service issues or customer concerns
- Oversee the order process from initial entry through final delivery
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in the concrete or construction supply industry preferred (not required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in basic computer applications; experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service
