We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server at Sakura Ramen, you will play a vital role in crafting memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Guest Service:
- Greet and seat guests warmly and efficiently.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing our point-of-sale system (OpenTable).
- Provide detailed menu explanations, highlighting our signature ramen dishes, and other Japanese delicacies.
- Upsell appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
- Resolve any guest issues or complaints professionally and courteously.
- Food Service:
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Present dishes with care, paying attention to presentation details.
- Maintain knowledge of food allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Restaurant Operations:
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table setting and bussing.
- Accurately process payments and handle cash register transactions.
- Assist with closing procedures, such as cleaning, restocking, and securing the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Prior experience as a Server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus.
- Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills for accurate calculations.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
